El acordeonista mejor conocido como "SUNNY SAUCEDA" recibio una nominacion en la 6 Entrega Anual de los Premios Grammy Latino en la categoria "Mejor Album Tejano" por su participacion en la produccion titulada, "Polkas, Gritos, y Acordeones". Esta es su primer nomacion en los Premios GRAMMY LATINO. Pero, previamente tuvo dos nomaciones en los Premios GRAMMY en donde este 13 de febrero pasado, fue otorgado con un Premio GRAMMY en los 47 Entrega Anual de los Premios GRAMMY. La 6 Entrega Anual de los Premios Grammy Latino se llevara acabo el Jueves, 3 de Noviembre del 2005, por la cadena UNIVISION.

Accordion sensation "SUNNY SAUCEDA" received a Latin Grammy nomination for his participation on the album, "Polkas, Gritos Y Acordeones" for the category "Best Tejano Album" in conjunction with the 6th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. This is his first Latin Grammy nomination, but has two previous Grammy award nominations and was awarded a Grammy on the 47th Annual Grammy Awards. The 6th Annual Latin Grammy Awards will take place Thursday, November 3, 2005 on the UNIVISION NETWORK.

6TH ANNUAL LATIN GRAMMY NOMINEES

The Latin Grammy Association announced the nominees for the 6th Annual Latin Grammy's. Polka's, Gritos, y Acordeones was nominated in the "Best Tejano Album" category. The album which features Joel Guzman, David Lee Garza and Sunny Sauceda is nominated along with Jimmy Gonzalez, La Tropa F, DLG y Los Musicales, and Bobby Pulido. Tejas Records signs Sunny!

As of late June, Sunny has continued the great relationship he has had with Tejas Records and signed as a solo artist to a multi-record contract. After years of continued support from President Chris Lieck and Vice President John Whipple, Sunny felt honored when he was approached with the idea. He is currently working in the studio on his new release. Check back soon to get more information.

Sunny attends the Premios Musica Latina de Austin

On Tuesday, July 19, 2005 the Premios Musica Latina de Austin were held at the One World Theatre. Sunny along with David Lee Garza and Joel Guzman were nominated for Album of the Year. Although Polkas, Gritos, y Acordeones did not win, Sunny says," It was a honor to be nominated along with Los Lonely Boys, Intocable, Duelo, and the Kumbia Kings.
